Recently changed the pattern of the Final FRCR Part A examination from the multiple choice question (MCQ) format to single best answers (SBA). There have been a few examinations since the introduction of the new format and looking at some of the questions that have been asked, it is obvious that the questions have been written with daily radiology practice in mind. The chapters in this book are organised in accordance with the six modules of the examination, with 50 questions in each module. In this questions cover the common conditions that we come across in our day-to-day practice, included unusual cases as well, which some examiners like to focus on in the area of their expertise. Emphasis has been placed on cross-sectional imaging, including CT and MRI, with some mention of PET scanning as well. The recent literature has been scrutinised to be sure of reflecting current knowledge and imaging practice. Each answer is briefly discussed to explain why it is the single best answer. The most important factor underpinning success is an understanding of the basic principles of imaging and disease processes so that the best answer will fall into place. This book will become a 'must-have' for all candidates sitting the examination.
