A sound foundation of understanding of common respiratory, circulatory, neuromuscular and metabolic disorders is provided in the next four chapters giving details of ABG abnormalities and abnormalities in lung function tests in simple text and easy to understand illustrations along with recent advances. Chapter 8 describes other disorders, e.g. starvation anxiety etc. A comprehensive index is given at last.
