This book explains in detail the technical principles of the different imaging methods applied to the skeleton, including radiographs, ultrasound, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging and radionuclide scans. It also describes the normal and abnormal musculoskeletal tissues using each modality. The final chapter describes the radiological patterns seen with bone tumours and infarcts, osteomyelitis, rickets, arthritis, and osteochondritis dissicans.
