This chapter has two parts: the first part deals with body language in general and how to read signals from patients and respond to them during doctor-patient dyadic interviews. The second part summarises the recent scientific research findings on non-verbal behaviour of patients and doctors. The end of chapter exercises are designed to provide effective teaching-learning experiences of the various skills highlighted in the chapter.
