Manual of Medical Therapeutics

by PK Dash, UN Panda

This book on therapeutics presents a cross section of various therapeutic regimens employed in diseases. The basic underlying pathophysiology essential for understanding therapies are duly emphasized. Controversial topics are dealt with special care and precaution. The doses mentioned are the ones usually employed in clinical practice but many centres may be having deviations or may be using modified doses under special circumstances. Though the organisation of text has been largely preserved, the contents have been thoroughly revised. Newer therapeutic modalities have been incorporated. Drug vocabulary has been updated. By and large, the book is very useful for house physicians, medical students and medical practitioners, and will serve as a guide book.
