The book, "Common Clinical Problems in Obstetrics and Gynaecology: A Practical Approach", is divided into four sections. First section discusses topics like clinical applications of molecular biology techniques in obstetrics and gynaecology, management of severe pre-eclampsia eclampsia syndrome, preterm labour, HIV management, acute renal failure in pregnancy, labour analgesia, management of breech presentation and practical interventions for occipito-posterior position. Second section describes various contraception methods that can be utilized by high risk patients as well as new procedures in hormonal contraception. Next section discusses management of conditions, such as primary amenorrhoea, polycystic ovary syndrome, endometriosis, ectopic pregnancy, various bladder dysfunction, ureteric injuries, various routes and management through hormone replacement therapy. Last section highlights methods to control diabetes in pregnancy and management of prolonged labour, intrapartum heart disease, lost IUCD thread, gestational trophoblastic disease, etc.
