The main objective of this chapter is to discuss the drug overdose; it covers the opioid (heroin) overdose, cocaine, ecstasy, aspirin and paracetamol. Drowsiness, coma, pinpoint pupils and slowed respiration are the symptoms of opioid (heroin) overdose. Respiratory support and naloxone intravenous/intramuscular are treatment options for opioid (heroin) overdose. Crack (freebase) cocaine, cocaine induced chest pain and excited deliriums are discussed under the cocaine. The symptoms and treatment options of all these drug overdoses are also provided in throughout the chapter.
