The book titled “Atlas of Surgery of the Facial Nerve” enlightens the facial nerves with the help of illustrations and the images. This book comprises fifteen chapters that involve the comprehensive elucidation about the different topics and techniques related to the facial nerve. Exhaustive photographic depiction of the nerve and its various features are included. Anatomy of the facial nerve, neurophysiology of the facial nerve and nerve regeneration, causes of facial palsy, testing of the facial nerve, Bell’s palsy are covered in this book. Facial palsy in infection, facial nerve in temporal bone fractures, iatrogenic injury of the facial nerve during surgery of CSOM and facial nerve in the parotid gland are explained. Syndromes associated with facial palsy such as Mellkersson – Rosenthal Syndrome, Ramsay Hunt syndrome, Moebius syndrome, Heerfordt Syndrome, Frey’s Syndrome and Mondini’s Defect are discussed.
