This book Optician’s Guide is a basic reference book for all the dispensing opticians, counter salesmen, store in-charge, etc. This book has designed and developed in such a manner so as to give very basic and minimum required technical information about optics and dispensing of spectacles in a very simple language. Priority has been given to practical requirements of the subject. The contains almost all the aspects of dispensing spectacles which store keepers come across during their daily routine work in an optical store. The whole text is divided into 14 chapters comprising of light, lenses, prism, selection of lenses, frames and measurements, verification of spectacles, contact lenses, eyes, troubleshooting, some useful terms, etc.
