Acne is a common complaint of pilosebaceous origin. Rosacea is characterized by excessive flushing and blushing of centrofacial areas with secondary changes like papules or severe complications like rhinophyma development. Alopecias can be caused by both cicatricial processes like lichen planus and nonscaring processes like telogen effluvium. Nails can also be affected by many disease processes like psoriasis, lichen planus as well as chronic renal failure, cirrhosis with distinctive morphological features. Eczemas are heterogenous group of diseases producing inflammation of skin either because of endogenous or exogenous factors.
