Last chapter of this book describes some common conditions or diseases that need attention in non-pharmacological treatments like Physiotherapy. It gives elementary knowledge in Physiotherapeutic management. Physical therapy is a complement treatment to classical pharmacotherapy. Sooner it is started the better will be the outcome especially in neurological and musculoskeletal conditions. Its popularity is gaining day by day. The neurological conditions which require physical therapy are hemiplegia, paraplegia, cerebral palsy, spastic paraparesis, spinal cord injury, etc. Orthopaedic conditions like fracture stiffness, joint stiffness due to various arthritis, scoliosis, kyphosis and soft tissue lesion demands physiotherapy. As indicated above early intervention with physical therapy shows good result. Exercise therapy is the most important item in physiotherapy but the role of other modalities can not be underestimated. Each patient with a particular disease or problem requires individual tailor-made physiotherapeutic program. Every time is to be remembered that complication may arise during or after a physiotherapeutic manoeuvre. So one must take necessary modifications or alterations in the individual tailor-made rehabilitation program in such cases.
