This chapter reviews some other common problems in anaesthesia not discussed elsewhere in this book. It includes problems of smoker patients, alcoholic patients, febrile patients, burns, and patients with disseminated intravascular coagulation, malignant hyperpyrexia, anaesthesia in high altitude, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, medicolegal aspects of anaesthesia.
