Hypertensive patients are always at risk during surgery and anaesthesia. These patients should be evaluated in preoperative period. Control of blood pressure in perioperative period is always beneficial. Anaesthetic management should be cautious and adequate monitoring is helpful. Postoperative hypertension should be detected early and treated immediately.
