Abstract

To learn and understand various pathological investigation for diagnosing different type of tuberculosis. Tuberculosis is chronic bacterial disease caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis. It inflicts almost all the systems or tissue in the body in spite of the discovery of the causative organism more than a century back in 1882 by Robert Koch, the timely diagnosis of the disease a major hurdle in treatment and control of the disease. AFB demonstration or other classical feature of TB are same only in a limited number of cases. Hence close clinical, pathological, radiological and microbiological correlation is necessary for increased diagnostic yields. Elucidated with clinical case reports.
