To learn and understand the epidemiology, diagnostic tools and management of cryptogenic tuberculosis. Abnormal presentation of chronic indolent miliary forms of tuberculosis- cryptogenic tuberculosis comes to mind. Aging leads to changes in respiratory system effecting pharynx, bronchi, lugs and thoracic cage. The changes in pharynx lead to impaired cough reflux causing aspiration frequently as seen in outdoor as well as indore patient. In a diabetic if the requirement of OHA goes up, one should suspect an infective process. Elucidated with clinical case reports.
