Abstract

Abstract

Anti retro viral therapy is a key element of over all management of HIV disease; it delays the onset of AIDS and improves the quality of life. Anti retro viral drugs include nucleoside analogues, protease inhibitors and non nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor. WHO (1997) recommended “universe safety precautions” for preventing the spread of HIV infection. Charles E Barr (1995) recommended the therapy for oral diseases associated with HIV/AIDS.
