Abstract

The control of DM depends on the blood sugar and urine sugar estimation periodically. GTT is not to be done routinely in DM patients. Urine sugar and its value as a factor of clinical help is analyzed. In the same way with blood sugar estimation. Renal glycosuria is a condition to be remembered. The time of blood sugar estimation in various sub groups varies. Random blood sugar in the evening is a useful tool for deciding the control and is new information. By doing the tests at proper time, the control can be planned effectively in diabetic patients.
