Appendix 3 gives the volume equivalents of common measures and serving utensils. Appendix 4 gives the classification of overweight in terms of the Body Mass Index (BMI) and the norms, International and for Indians. Appendix 5 tabulates the energy cost of some everyday activities as well as a few structured exercises in terms of the resting energy consumption.
