This book has been written with an aim to cope up with the changing trends in medical education. There is a dynamic change in core of the subject and trends in teaching technology. More stress is given on applied aspects of the preclinical subjects. The ways and means of assessment of a student also has changed drastically. A student has to attain perfection in competitive type of assessment. So as a teacher also; one has to change their view, ideas and methodology for training a student. Even an attempt has been made to take an account of pathophysiology of different disease processes at proper places. An attempt has been made to give an elaborate account of procedures for performing different physiology practicals so students can learn the motor skill for attaining perfection in practical examination. Sufficient related theoretical details have been discussed in each practical. Wherever possible sufficient related questions have also been introduced, with the expectation that these questions will be answered by the students after they complete the experiment. This book to have a reference when he is reading practical subject as a basis of medicine or surgery.
