This book is an attempt to take the learning surgeon in the techniques of Biaxial Lens Surgery, into a sequential teaching-learning process, where the surgeon is able to proceed, step by step (one after another), converting his or hers coaxial technique, in a safe way, to a biaxial technique. Going step by step the surgeon will be able to al the advantages in each new step he is going through the biaxial technique. The structure of this sequential textbook, allows the surgeon to go back to the technique he is accustomed to perform, any time he wants, he needs or he feels afraid to go further. In this mode, each surgeon can choose his personal speed to converting according his capacities, abilities, cases, kind of patients and feelings. It conforms, an easy approach to learn. The only thing the surgeons needs to convert his technique from coaxial to biaxial while reading this textbook are a phaco machine, selected biaxial instrumentation, good knowledge of the technique, surgical skills and the strength enough to start. It is an easy approach to learn, just….follow the suggested rules.
