Abstract

Contact dermatitis, both irritant and allergic types, from topical medicaments is fairly common in clinical practice. About one third of all contact dermatitis cases are precipitated or perpetuated by topical medicaments. Various types of topical medicines associated with different types of contact dermatitis and their clinical pattern have been discussed.
