Abstract

Footwear contact dermatitis remains one of the most common forms of contact dermatitis especially in Asian perspective. Different types of chemicals associated with footwear including socks should be known for proper detection and patch testing of footwear allergens. Secondary ‘id eruption’ on trunk can originate from allergic contact dermatitis of feet induced by footwear.
