Bronchiectasis is the irreversible abnormal permanent dilatation of bronchial tree due to permanent damage to the bronchial wall. The condition is either acquired or congenital, and is associated with long term management implications. This chapter deals with the diagnosis, clinical manifestations and management of this chronic lung condition.
