However, a small group may present with recurrent or persistent pneumonia associated with significant dilemma in management. This chapter unravels the potential conditions to be considered in recurrent and persistent pneumonia and the most appropriate management. The various diagnostic investigations that help to clinch the underlying cause is also elaborated.
