Abstract

Basic structure of cartilage is explained and classification of cartilages on their histological structure is shown. The hyaline cartilage is explained with diagram and sites where same is present in human body. Same description follows for elastic cartilage and white fibrocartilage. The brief description of perichondrium is also provided. Relevant photomicrographs are given in atlas provided at the beginning of book.
