Musculoskeletal manifestations of TB are not widely known. This chapter is an useful compendium of material on this subject. In this chapter, epidemiology of musculoskeletal manifestations of TB is first presented and various rheumatic syndromes caused by TB are listed. The aetiology, pathogenesis of musculoskeletal manifestations of TB, the clinical settings where TB arthritis should be suspected are described. The changing clinical presentation of TB arthritis is also discussed.
