Abstract

Huntington disease (HD) is a neurodegenerative disorder of genetic origin. It is one of the commonest cause of adult onset chorea characterized by abnormal movement, cognitive decline and behavioral abnormality. Genetic testing is confirmatory and helps to detect pre or asymptomatic family member. Management is dismal. Extensive research is going on world-wide to find out a solution. Neural transplantation is one of the modality for future consideration.
