This chapter truly does not belong to the movement disorders since they are not of basal ganglia in origin. But these disorders have important places in the differential diagnosis of various movement disorders. Some of the conditions are genetic in origin, few are immunologically mediated and some are unknown. Electrophysiology has a great role in the diagnostic evaluation.
