Abstract

Stroke is a common neurological disorder and its incidence as well as prevalence is rising very high in developing countries. It is expected that stroke will be an epidemic in coming decades. Stroke also leaves a lot of neurological squeal such as motor deficit, affective and cognitive impairment. Movement disorder may be the presenting feature in acute situation such as hemiballism or may be delayed such as rubral tremor. Some abnormal movements are self limiting and others require medication including intervention.
