Abstract

Cutaneous tuberculosis with its many clinical faces continues to be common in developing countries like India and the frequency of atypical mycobacterial infections have also increased due to the advances in diagnostic procedures and the AIDS pandemic. A comprehensible classification of cutaneous tuberculosis followed by a concise description with photographs of the individual types of cutaneous tuberculosis is provided in this chapter. At the end of the chapter an inclusive summary of the atypical mycobacterial infections is given in a tabular form.
