In the later chapters the diseases of various regions of eye and adnexa are given in a simple and brief manner with many illustrations. Chapters on refraction and therapeutics give insight into these basics. Community ophthalmology, important in modern world, is dealt lucidly. Basic operations of importance are given in detail with excellent illustrations. Instruments used, their indications and usefulness are dealt in one chapter with all instruments illustrated. One chapter deals with differential diagnosis of various diseases/symptoms. Questions—summary and short notes—that are usually asked for students are given. Apart from the above, one chapter is devoted to neuro ophthalmology which is useful equally for students and general ophthalmologist. The emphasis of this book is on students and general ophthalmologist. It is well indexed.
