Abstract

In this chapter, traumatic injuries to kidney, bladder, and urethra have been dealt with. How to carry out the emergency nephrectomy has been described. The management of urethral injury is a debatable subject. The surgical intervention to the penile urethral injury has been described, highlighting the difference between the conservative approach and immediate repair of the injury to the penile urethra. The management of injury to the membranous urethra, resulting from the fracture of the pelvis is a complicated surgical care that has to be dealt with in accordance with the emergency surgical demand, but diversion of urine remains an urgent priority.
