This chapter discusses physical medicine and rehabilitation (PMR) services. Physical medicine and rehabilitation is the need of the hour. The rehabilitation has been defined as \"the combined and coordinated use of medical, social, educational and vocational measures for training and retraining the individuals to the highest possible level of functional ability.\" Any loss or abnormality of psychological, physiological, or anatomical structure or function is called impairment. Community based approach is a community based rehabilitation program for development of the rehabilitation services, equalization of the opportunities and social integration of people with disabilities. Maintenance of equipment department is highly dependent upon equipment so up keeping of the equipment and preventive maintenance program is very important managerial work.
