Abstract

Abstract

This chapter discusses corneal wavefront LASIK after penetrating keratoplasty. Once keratoplasty is successfully carried out and considering that the cornea maintains its clarity, significant visual morbidity is dependent on the residual refraction and cylinder. The advent of the excimer laser has provided one with a tool to correct the ametropic condition. Timing of LASIK after keratoplasty and technique are described. 60 cases of corneal grafts are treated with corneal wavefront guided LASIK with superlative results.
