Abstract

Certain corneal pathologies have morphological characteristics, which require the use of special techniques that are different from the conventional keratoplasty techniques. These include conditions such as severe corneo-iridic scars, pellucid marginal degeneration, Terrien’s marginal degeneration, keratoglobus and Mooren’s ulcer. At our center we have developed some newer techniques of corneal grafting surgery that yield optimal results in these conditions.
