While some studies found differences between fertile and infertile males in their professional activities (such as, welding, being a white collar professional or exposure to metals), their exposure to chemicals (like solvents) or to physical agents (like electromagnetic fields or heat), other studies did not find significant differences to the same or similar exposures. In this chapter we review the current evidence on the association between the main occupational and lifestyles exposures and male infertility.
