Abstract

In PA (postero-anterior) view of chest the lung is divided into three zones. The upper zone extends from apices to lower border of 2nd rib anteriorly. The middle zone is between the lower borders of 2nd and 4th rib anteriorly. Lower zone extends below the lower border of 4th rib. The normal x-ray chest images are meticulously depicted and labeled, special views when needed are also discussed.
