In this brief chapter we illustrate skin problems following the introduction of the bracing technique, this complication is very rate and it is easily prevented, since it can occur in patients who fail to remove the brace for hygienic purpose for prolonged periods of time. More likely is the improper fit of the brace, which should not come too close to the axilla or forearm, since abnormal pressure over the soft tissues can create the skin problems. Braces that extend over the shoulder and are strapped to the chest do more harm than good, Braces should cover only a portion of the humeral diaphysis while allowing full motion of the shoulder and flexion and extension of the elbow.
