Internal fixation of bilateral humeral fractures is probably the most appropriate means to treat them. However, bracing some of these fractures can be, under special circumstances, an effective therapeutic methodic, for reasons such as serious preexisting medical conditions that t militate against surgery or the patent whose medical condition at the time of the injury suggests a major risk from a surgical intervention. The bracing technique becomes a valid option. The same protocol outlined for unilateral fractures may be followed. We cannot claim expertise with these fractures and therefore unable to present solid recommendations.
