Abstract

In this chapter we illustrate the prefabricated brace, the timing for its application, and the recommended length of the appliance in the activities recommended to the patient. The brace should not interfere with wrist or elbow motion and should simply limit pronosupination. In this chapter we illustrate examples of isolated fractures of the ulna treated with a functional brace. Present statistical data regarding results in reference to level and type of fracture.
