Abstract

Unfortunate involvement of the vital tissue ‘pulp’ in primary and young permanent teeth due to carious or traumatic reason would pose sequelae of damaging effects on the dentofacial complex. Analysis and evaluation of the pulpal diseases along with appropriate endodontic treatment would maintain the function, without further destruction of the tooth tissue. This chapter explains several of the pulp therapy procedures.
