Management of dermatological diseases often requires book consultation as treatment pattern and protocol are in continuous process of change and update and newer pharmaceutical agents are regularly being introduced in the market. In busy hospital or chamber practice a bigger book consultation becomes almost next to impossible. Thus we badly need a ready-reference short book of skin treatment in common dermatoses. The practising dermatologists also search for rational skin therapy approach as a bewildering amount of therapeutic regimen is available and especially in the diseases where evidence-based therapy has not been advocated or not feasible in clinical situation. A special highlight of the book is to provide practical clues regarding management of common dermatoses. Brief important information on common dermatological drugs, topical and systemic has been given. List of drug indications, side effects, contraindications, drug interactions, pregnancy and lactation category have been included. Antiretroviral drugs have been specially focussed. Concise description about sunscreen, botulinum toxin, peeling agents, and dermal fillers has also been added.
