Abstract

This chapter discusses \'suprachoroidal shunts: new surgical approach in glaucoma\' in to provide in-depth knowledge to the readers. Glaucoma is a disease of the optic nerve treated by reducing the intraocular pressure. Aqueous humor is secreted by the ciliary epithelium lining the ciliary processes (CPs) and enters the posterior chamber. The shunt, clinical report on the gold shunt, eligibility criteria, and surgical technique are discussed. Results of intraocular pressure and medication use are explained.
