This is the 1st edition of the book Allergy Hormone Link. The book emphasises the involvement of hormones in immune reactions. Adequate physician’s information about allergy- hormone link could enhance their awareness regarding the same and can help in effective management of their patients. This text is comprehensive and updated as per the present day requirements in the subject of allergy. The book has 10 chapters. The first chapter deals with history of allergy and its management. Subsequent two chapters are classification of allergy and genetic correlation of allergy. A sound foundation of understanding of causes and pathophysiology of allergy is provided in the next four chapters giving details of causes, reactions, inflammatory mechanism and pathophysiology of allergy in simple text and easy to understand illustrations along with recent advances. Manifestations of allergy are described in chapter 8. Chapter 9 and 10 deal with diagnosis and therapy of allergy. A comprehensive index is given at last.
