The Human Anatomy Dissection Manual depicts the regional division of the body which follows the order of upper limb, thorax, abdomen, pelvis and perineum, lower limb, head and neck and brain. The body is divided into six to seven regions and the structures located in a particular region are described in dissection manuals. Each regional chapter gives an outline of arrangement of structures in that part and their functional specialization. Living and surface anatomy is incorporated at places to make the student understand the correlation between the structures that are seen in the cadaver and the functions they perform in the living.
