The book “Diagnostic Endoscopy” is an atlas of endoscopic images of the upper gastrointestinal tract with higher resolution which were taken live during routine endoscopy. This book is divided into eighteen different chapters. Each chapter begins with brief introductory text along with the legends to the figures. This book deals mostly about common diseases such as peptic ulcer, portal hypertension, benign gastric ulcer etc. Rare diagnostic conditions of certain diseases are also discussed in different chapters. Various staging of endoscopy relevant diseases and their respective classifications are elucidated. Information about the documentations of diseases and procedures in this book are more interesting and informative which provides complete perspective to the readers. Practicing endoscopy without proper guidance to understand the endoscopic findings may end up with serious errors and blunders. Hence this book can be a comprehensive guide to those who are practicing endoscopy. It also covers about uncommon inflammatory lesions of upper GI tract along with pictorial representation.
