Abnormal uterine bleeding (AUB) is one of the commonest problems with which women present to the gynecology outpatient department. The problem can present in a wide variety of clinical types and can be due to multiple, unrelated etiologies. The terms used to describe abnormal menses are: Menorrhagia, Metrorrhagia, Hypomenorrhea, Oligomenorrhea, Amenorrhea, Polymenorrhea
