Abstract

Endometrial cancer is fourth most common cancer in the world. Classical risk factors are obesity, less parity, hypertension and diabetes. Clear guidelines on screening methods and treatment options in endometrial intraepithelial neoplasm are given in the chapter. Clinical symptomatology and different methods of diagnosis of endometrial carcinoma like fractional curettage, hysteroscopy, and imaging techniques are detailed in the chapter. Staging and treatment plans of endometrial carcinoma, tailored according to stage of cancer and histology are systematically explained in the chapter. Uterine sarcoma are highly malignant tumors of uterus, accounting for 2-6% of uterine malignancies. Classification, histogenesis, diagnosis, spread and stage wise treatment of uterine sarcoma are summarized in the chapter.
