Abstract

Normal labor is defined in which fetus presents by vertex, begins spontaneously at term, and terminates naturally without artificial aid and complications. Aims and objectives of optimum intranatal care is concised in the chapter followed by description of physiopharmacolgy of labor, dimensions and disposition of fetal parts especially fetal skull and female pelvis.
