Psoriasis is a disease with varied impact on patient’s quality of life. There are some patients who stoically accept the disease while others think it is the end of the world. Most books available on management of psoriasis devote substantial space to theoretical aspects of psoriasis. In contrast, this book provides an overview of clinical aspects including practical tips on managing psoriasis. This book is divided into three sections. The first section describes pathogenesis and clinical features. It includes epidemiology, pathogenesis, mucocutaneous manifestations, nail changes, arthritis, and comorbidities. Section two explains diagnosis and treatment, which discusses investigations, differential diagnosis, general principles of treatment, topical therapy, phototherapy and photochemotherapy, systemic therapy, biologics therapy, combination therapy, and approach to a patient with psoriasis. Section three includes the annexure.
